dailywireless.org というワイヤレス系のニュース／ブログサイトによると、Unstrung.com や Byte & Switch 等のニュースサイトを運営する Light Reading が技術系のメディアコングロマリットである CMP Media に買収された。
Technical publishing conglomerate CMP Media has acquired Light Reading and their four market-leading publications; (Light Reading, Unstrung, Byte & Switch, and Next-Gen Data Center Forum); along with their web- based seminars (webinars); Heavy Reading, their paid research and advisory services and other assets.
このブログでも Unstrung.com をニュース源として取り上げていることがありますが、こんな片隅のブログだけではなくて、いろんな人が Light Reading や Unstrumg を貴重なニュース源としてみなしている様子。
